The car moves forward autonomously and uses feedback from the ultrasonic sensor to detect/ avoid objects on its path. If the car encounters an object it turns 90 degrees until it finds an empty path.

LEDs help indicate when the robot is in a particular state. The green LED light turns on when the car is moving (forward, backward, clockwise, counterclockwise) and the red LED light turns on when the car is stationary.

The phones accelerometer sensor values are used to find the raw, pitch, and yaw angles. Speed is determined by how far you tilt the phone up/ down. Direction is determined by the orientation of the phone.
