I love to knit together
nuanced concepts.
​The passion for merging disciplines began long before I studied engineering. Growing up in a family of Greek builders on the island of Crete, I spent my childhood in construction sites and architecture studios. Naturally, as my father explained the ins and outs of buildings, an appetite for tinkering with mechanisms developed. Soon, I began turning everyday objects into sculptures and jewelry. Forgotten pots and pans got transformed into flower assemblies. Discarded furniture knobs became my mother’s favorite earrings. An old soldering iron turned out to be the perfect tool for bending wire into elaborate necklaces.
