Turning

The handle is made out of Delrin, which is a type of plastic. I started off with a solid cylinder, which I then re-shaped into a handle that holds the acrylic lens in place.

Milling

The lug is the piece that connects the handle with the ring, and I made it using a milling machine.

Welding

To connect the lug to the ring, I experimented with a brazing technique.

Polishing

All metal parts were polished using high-grade sand paper. The acrylic lens was finished using a buffing machine.
